What does Asahi Kasei Electrolyser do
When direct current is passed through the Asahi Kasei Electrolyser, an oxidation reaction occurs at the interface between the anode and the solution, and a reduction reaction occurs at the interface between the cathode and the solution to produce the desired product. Optimizing the structure of the electrolytic cell and selecting the materials of the electrodes and diaphragms are the keys to improving the current efficiency, reducing the cell voltage and saving energy.
Asahi Kasei Electrolyser Startup Safety Notes:
All electromechanical equipment must be checked before power-on. They should be safe and reliable, all appliances should be in good condition, all raw materials must be prepared, and they should be fully preheated with permission. The alkali and cryolite must be mixed evenly, so as not to cause the electrolyte to splash out and hurt people during startup. When installing the furnace, the guide rod and the large busbar must be smoothed, so as to prevent the guide rod from scratching the large busbar and causing the busbar to be loose and causing bias current to the anode.
Before the Asahi Kasei Electrolyser shunt is disassembled, the production personnel cannot touch the shunt with bare hands. When disassembling the shunt, the operator must wear protective equipment to avoid burns. When adding cryolite and alkali, work smoothly to prevent scalds from stepping on your feet in the tank. Before adding alkali, you must preheat to avoid explosion and make the electrolyte separate and hurt people. When salvaging carbon slag, do not let the carbon slag spoon touch the anode to avoid flower damage.
